I Carry Your Heart

This is a very beautiful piece that I found recently on JAMA Cardiology. Written by Abraham Verghese, this deals with the battle between doppelganger hearts in and as a bed-side physician’s perspective and how essential is maintaining a communication and establishing relationship with the patients. He concludes with a beautiful poem by E. Cummings, which also provides the title for his article.

Certainly a worth-read for all medicine enthusiasts or those trying to find last sediments of humanities in medicine.
